If the cable has a fuse in itself, chances are the heat, at least that is how they treat me
Normally in a system of 12 volts, is red and black hot is the mass.
In a 120-volt system, black is white hot and neutral.
I suppose in a trailer 13, the wiring was wrong and a do-it-yourself organizing it again. If I knew what I was doing the "connection" can make a backup and would be the hot wire. the other is the ground wire. Use a continuity tester or ohm meter to check each wire to the chassis. The cable connecting the chassis ground. Good luck and always have a fire extinguisher handy.
